and Todd visit the Sand Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Northeastern
South Dakota, which is situated in a major flyway for migrating birds
and waterfowl. They witness a mass migration...something everyone
should experience in their lifetime!
About this episode...
This episode needed to be filmed in late fall, and needed to be completed very quicky, which really left us scurrying to get it done in time to hit the air. We have talked about doing this feature for years, but the timing has always made it difficult. On top of that, the U.S Government shutdown also meant that parks are refuges were shut down...and this was to be filmed on government land.
We really wanted the chance to experience and feature this amazing event. It really is something everyone must see.
