Terri and Todd visit the Black Hills Region of South Dakota and the Badlands. They attend the 2013 Buffalo Roundup at Custer State Park, where they learn the history and importance of Bison, and why it’s important to keep these magnificent creatures roaming the prairies. They also take in some of the other sites in the region and learn more about the creatures that call the Black Hills region their ‘home’.

A note from Terri and Todd....
We have visited Custer State Park at least a dozen times, and it's one of our favorite places in South Dakota. In our first season, we featured the Buffalo Roundup, and we felt it was time to do it again.
Many of our loyal viewers have actually requested we return and feature another Roundup.
The Buffalo Roundup brings in about 14,000 people.

At the Roundup we ended up, much to our dismay, next to former Minnesota Twins Baseball Player, Kent Hrbek and took a moment for a photo op.

The Roundup went wonderful, despite it being about 42 degrees! We had to go shopping the night before, and stock up on warm clothing. The organizers of the event do a great job, and  it was good to see our old friends at Custer State Park again.
We will be back!
