Terri and Todd visit the Riviera Maya  where they enter the jungle in search of Monkeys. They also visit a Mayan village where they learn about the Mayan lifestyle and culture, get a lesson in how farming and ecotourism works for them, and visit the Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve.

A Note From Terri and Todd......
We learned so much during our time in Mexico. We learned about culture, history, wildlife, lifestyle, wildlife, and so much more. Our two days in the jungles of the Mexican Riviera were unbelievable.

We  took the ferry across from Cozumel, and Marianna, our host with Riviera Maya Tourism Board, picked us up at the Ferry Dock.

I think it's safe to say that we really enjoyed her company...we hope she enjoyed our visit!
We headed to Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve where we spent the day exploring
and watching for wildlife.

The next day we left very early for the heart of the jungle to look for monkeys. We met up with our team there.

After a morning of filming monkeys, we visited the village of Nuevo Durango. The folks of the village welcomed us warmly and made us a traditional Mayan lunch before giving us a tour of the village.

We have plans to revisit the area in 2014, and we can't wait!
